Clovis police are asking for help in finding the driver who hit a 13-year-old boy riding his bike to school Tuesday.
The boy suffered cuts to his face and right hand, and injuries to his left arm, police spokeswoman Janet Stoll-Lee said. He also lost consciousness for a brief time after the collision.
The hit-and-run happened between 7:15 and 7:30 a.m. The boy was riding northbound on Music Avenue at Bullard Avenue with traffic. He told officers that a small, late-model, gray, four-door sedan parked on the other side of the street made a sudden U-turn and ran into him.
