Fresno police recovered four stolen vehicles in two separate cases this week and arrested four people suspected in the thefts.
The Police Department's Help Eliminate Auto Theft task force located two stolen vehicles Monday in central Fresno near Clay and Bond avenues and arrested two people: a parolee wanted for assault with a deadly weapon and a person in possession of narcotics and stolen property.
The task force also recovered two vehicles Tuesday that had been taken from the owners' driveways while the vehicles warmed up. Both vehicles were stolen from Fresno but found in Coarsegold. The suspects, a man and a woman, were in possession of meth for sale and were taken into custody. They were also wanted for questioning in two vehicle burglaries in Madera, one in Fresno and two in Clovis.
