Clovis police on Monday announced the arrest of four suspected drug dealers who are accused of sending a 47-pound marijuana shipment to Ohio.
Clovis narcotics detectives arrested the three men and one woman Thursday at a home on the 200 block of Rialto Avenue. They seized a small amount of marijuana, $8,000 in cash and postal packaging evidence.
U.S. postal investigators in Columbus, Ohio, had tracked the packages with the marijuana and planned to arrest those who received it. However, the suspects never opened the boxes.
Federal investigators confiscated the contraband and sent it back to Clovis as evidence against the four suspects in Clovis.
