3 teens nabbed in thefts from Clovis cars

Clovis police arrested three juveniles early Monday in connection with thefts from cars on the 2100 block of Stanford Avenue.

A witness called officers after she saw a boy jump a fence and prowl through a parking lot about 3 a.m. at a gated retirement complex.

Officers who came to the scene saw two boys jump back over the fence. An officer found the boys, 17 and 15, hiding nearby along with a girl, 15.

The girl and the 17-year-old boy were booked and released. The 15-year-old was booked for probation violation and taken to Fresno County Juvenile Hall.
