After nearly three years at the helm of the Marjaree Mason Center, executive director Genelle Taylor Kumpe is stepping down. She resigned Monday.
Lucianna Ventresca, associate director, and Marcus Martin, director of finance, will lead the center in the interim period.
The Marjaree Mason Center will continue to provide services to the homeless and victims of domestic abuse while board members search for a new executive director.
Kumpe was not available for comment Tuesday.
Kumpe worked for 10 years as associate director of the Lyles Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. She is a founding member of the La Visionaria Guild, a nonprofit organization that helps raise funds for Valley Children’s Hospital. She also owned a business in The Shops at River Park shopping center in northeast Fresno.
