The Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day ceremony went on Friday at the Fresno VA hospital, but this was the first time that no Pearl Harbor survivors were present in the many years of the ceremony being conducted at the hospital.

Remembrance Day commemorates the day Japan attacked the U.S. on Dec. 7, 1941.
