The winter’s biggest storm will churn for one more day over Central California before it heads east, the National Weather Service said.

Showers are in the forecast until sometime Saturday evening. Then the big low-pressure area will head east.

Fresno’s high Saturday will be 58 degrees. The overnight low will drop near freezing.

Sunshine returns Sunday, and it is forecast to stay dry for several days.
