Gas prices in Fresno fell 29 cents in the last month to an average $3.09 for a gallon of unleaded gasoline, according to AAA of Northern California.
Prices fell 23 cents in the Visalia-Tulare-Porterville area to an average $3.06.
AAA released its monthly gas price report Tuesday.
Statewide, prices fell 33 cents to $3.10. Nationally, prices fell 9 cents to an average $2.39.

Gas prices have been falling for much of the last month as the state recovers from refinery issues and the sky-high prices of late March, according to AAA.
California’s average price is typically above the national price because of the special cleaner-burning blend of gas that is required to be sold in the state.
