Parlier motorcyclist killed south of Sanger identified

A 45-year-old Parlier man who died Sunday after rolling his Harley Davidson motorcycle south of Sanger has been identified by the Fresno County Coroner as Ramiro Gonzalez.

California Highway Patrol officials say Gonzalez was headed south on Newmark Avenue south of Jefferson Avenue around 8:30 p.m. when he veered from the road and hit a concrete pipe.

The motorcycle rolled and Gonzalez was thrown off, hitting a concrete wall before he died at the scene.

Officials say it’s unclear why Gonzalez veered off the road.
