Rebecca Donabed of Tulare has been reappointed to the California State Council on Developmental Disabilities, Gov. Jerry Brown announced Monday.
Donabed graduated from the Partners in Policymaking California program in 2008 and is a member of the Visalia Disability Advocacy Team and the Statewide Self-Advocacy Committee. She served as a greeter lead at Visalia Adult Integrated Services since 2014 and volunteered both at Resources for Independence, Central Valley in 2010-11 and the California Life Quality Assessment Project from 2006-09 as a life quality assessment volunteer.
Donabed, 34, a Republican, has served on the council since 2012. reappointment compensates her Compensation is $100 per day and the appointment does not require Senate confirmation.
