Your last day to choose top 10 Valley stories of 2014

There were arrivals, such as President Obama’s visit to talk drought and California Chrome’s explosion onto a national stage. There were departures, such as Derek Carr’s graduation from Fresno State to the Oakland Raiders and maestro Theodore Kuchar handing in his Fresno Philharmonic baton.

And there was spectacle, such as the tribal back-biting that led to the closure of Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino.

Those were among the top stories of 2014. There were many others, which is why we need your help. Use the form below to select a top 10 (and only 10, please; we won’t count them beyond that). Sunday is the last day to vote; balloting will close at 6 p.m..

If there’s a Valley story you want on your top 10 list that isn’t on the ballot, type it into the box at the bottom of the form, and tell us where the story should rank among your 10.

Thanks for your votes. And farewell, 2014.
