Authorities called for voluntary evacuations in Three Rivers Wednesday as the Dinley Fire grew to 300 acres in less than two hours.
As of 5 p.m., the fire was 10 percent contained, said Tulare County Fire Capt. Joe Rosa. The voluntary evacuation covers the Dinley Drive area, according to Cal Fire.
The Visalia Times-Delta reported that an evacuation center was set up at Community Presbyterian Church at 43410 Sierra Drive for the 30 to 40 residents affected.
No homes were threatened, Rosa said, and there were no reports of injuries or damage. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
