Loose cattle cause brief traffic concern on Visalia city streets

Visalia briefly turned into a cowtown Saturday night when cattle from the Visalia Livestock Market got loose on city streets.

Police Sgt. Bill Diltz said a call about the cattle came in about 10:45 p.m. The cattle were disrupting traffic in the area of Ben Maddox Way and Goshen Avenue.

Livestock Market staff members were able to wrangle the cattle back into their pens.
