Fresno homebuilders pulled more building permits in April than the month before, according to a report from the California Homebuilding Foundation.
In Fresno County, 197 single-family building permits were issued in April, up from 145 in March, the foundation’s California Construction Review said. Last year at the same time, 204 building permits were pulled.
Tulare County also saw a jump in permits with 121 pulled compared to 104 in March. In April 2015, 142 building permits were issued.
The report is compiled using data from the Construction Industry Research Board, a service provided by the foundation.
