Visalia builder San Joaquin Valley Homes is planning to break ground this month on the first phase of Palo Verde, a 110-acre new home community in Tulare.
The $90 million development at Mooney Boulevard and Seminole Avenue will have 350 lots. It is the builder’s eighth project in a joint venture with Presidio Residential Capital, a San Diego-based real estate investment company.
The first phase, called Sedona @ Palo Verde, will include 53 houses with five floorplans ranging in size from 1,574 to 2,250 square feet in size. Homes will have two to four bedrooms, two to two-and-half baths, nine-foot ceilings and two- to three-car garages. Flexible room options include dens, offices and media rooms.
Future plans for the rest of the community include larger homes, a gated neighborhood and a new elementary school.
