A team of Fresno housing experts has restarted monthly seminars to help first-time homebuyers navigate the homebuying process.
With mortgage interest rates projected to increase by the end of the year and home prices on the rise, it’s time to start up again and help people buy a home, said Michael Gilmore, branch manager for Primary Residential Mortgage in Fresno.
“I think it will help people understand the responsibility of homeownership better,” Gilmore said. “In the end that will help to reduce the types of problems we’ve seen in the past. An informed consumer is a better consumer.”
The seminar will be held 7 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 13 and noon to 1:30 p.m. Aug. 15 at the Primary mortgage office, 6042 N. Fresno Street, Suite 201 in Fresno.
