Fresno Modern Real Estate opens office

Fresno Modern Real Estate is opening an office.

Broker and Realtor Eldon Daetweiler has worked alone for almost six years but decided now is a good time to expand his business and establish some roots.

“It just kind of got to the point where I’m busy enough to warrant that and it was time to grow our company into a boutique company to help more people,” Daetweiler said.

Fresno Modern Real Estate handles all kinds of real estate properties, but specializes in mid-century modern and architecturally unique homes.

Fresno is home to a wealth of mid-century homes characterized by flat planes, large glass windows and open spaces integrated with nature. The retro-looking homes were mostly built between 1945 and the 1980s.

Realtors Kirk Psenner and Mike Van Horst have joined the Fresno Modern office.

A grand opening will be held 5 to 8 p.m. Sept. 18. The office is at 567 W. Shaw Ave., Suite A2, near the Fig Garden Village Shopping Center.
