Announcements

• 

Kaiser Permanente

has been given the highest ranking for customer satisfaction in California, according to the J.D. Power 2015 U.S. Member Health Plan Study. Kaiser Permanente outperformed six other health plans in California.



• 

Kaweah Delta Health Care District

has selected its first class of residents for its surgery and transitional year programs, along with residents for three other established residency programs. The 31 new residents will join 28 returning to bring the total to 59.

received ADDY® Awards for the Inspiration Catalog in Sales Promotion, 30th Anniversary View Finder for Direct Marketing 3D Mixed and Digital Advertising Social Media Single Platform B-to-B for “Selfie with an Elfie” Promotion.

Nenita Henajon

, a medical-surgical nurse at Kaiser Permanente Fresno, recently received the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses, which recognizes bedside nurses for extraordinary clinical skill and compassionate care.



• Yosemite National Park Ranger

Robert Lewis

received the Pacific West Region Harry Yount Award, given annually for excellence in “rangering.” He was recognized for his overall impact, record of accomplishments and excellence in traditional ranger duties. He will be considered for the National Harry Yount Award. This award is one of the highest recognitions a ranger can receive.



New Faces

• Provost & Pritchard Consulting Group added new members to the staff. They are

Andy Pal

, senior field representative, Fresno office, and

Jackie Lancaster

, project administrator, Visalia office. Pal brings more than 35 years of construction management and inspections experience and Lancaster has nearly 15 years in the office administration and customer service fields.



• 

Scott Smith

is the new director of partnership development of the Visalia Chamber of Commerce. He is a native of Visalia.



• 

Kristen Avery

joined Bank of the Sierra as vice president, agricultural loan officer. In her new position, she will meet with prospective clients to cultivate banking relationships, including developing and managing agricultural loan accounts along with other financial products and services.



• 

Sarah M. Hacker

joined The Dias Law Firm as an attorney. She has had the opportunity to develop experience through extensive proceedings with over 67 jury trials. She focuses her practice on criminal, family, employment, juvenile and business law, and civil litigation.



• 

Jonalyn Young

has joined Contour Valuation Services, a division of Conterra and Farmer Mac. She is a certified general appraiser completing real property valuation services involving agricultural properties and has more than 23 years of appraisal experience in the Central Valley.



New Locations

• 

Lotus Gardens Outdoor Living Center Inc.

opened a second location in Fresno at 433 N. Clovis Ave. The center is open seven days a week and has an array of shrubs, trees, annual color, vegetable plants, color bowls, statuary, house plants and a gift shop.
