The showroom portion of the Future Ford Dealership in Clovis was demolished Monday. The structure is being demolished to reveal a new 42,000-square-foot dealership building behind it.
The new building that houses sales, parts and service departments is open. A grand opening is expected in May.
A fire destroyed the Future Ford service department more than three years ago, prompting the new construction and improvements.
Demolition work will take about three weeks, said Randy Skates, Future Ford general manager.
