Woman sought as suspect in slaying of Fresno mom

Fresno police are seeking the public's help in finding a 21-year-old Fresno woman wanted in connection with the March 19 slaying of a 42-year-old Fresno woman.

Tori Kay Hernandez is wanted in connection with the slaying of Barbery Ann Dugan, whose body was found near North Marty and West Barstow avenues at about 11:30 p.m. She had been shot and run over by a vehicle.

The motive remains under investigation.

Dugan was a mother of four and a grandmother who was having problems providing for her family after losing a job late in 2009, friends have said.

This was the 14th killing of the year in Fresno. At this time last year, the city had eight homicides.
