Vacation Bible School for children and adults at First Armenian
A weeklong Vacation Bible School at First Armenian Presbyterian Church, 430 S. First St., Fresno, will be held from 6:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. Monday, June 13, through Friday, June 17. The program is for children age 2 through fifth grade.
The curriculum aims to give children a biblical understanding of the Christian faith through the stories of creation, Abraham and Isaac, Jesus of Nazareth and the Book of Revelation.
Also, an adult seminar, “Life on the Balcony: Processing Your Story … Discovering the Journey of Your Life,” will be led by Ingrid Davis, a graduate of Alliance Theological Seminary and founder of Leadership Coaching International.
‘A Kingdom Celebration’ family event in Lindsay
The Spirit and the Bride Kingdom Coalition church, the Lindsay Chamber of Commerce and the McDermont Field House are hosting the sixth annual “A Kingdom Celebration” event from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 18, at McDermont Field House, 365 N. Sweetbriar Ave., Lindsay.
Thousands attended last year’s free event. There will be free food, raffles, a mariachi band and family friendly activities including inflatable slides four stories tall, adult-size bounce houses, a bean bag toss, face painting puppet shows and a limbo dance contest.

Sports, Arts, Music & Science Camp at Easton Presbyterian
Easton Presbyterian Church, 5895 S. Elm Ave., Fresno, will host its sixth annual Sports, Arts, Music & Science Camp for children in the first through sixth grades from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 21, through Friday, June 24.

International Yoga Day event in Clovis
Free yoga classes will be available during International Yoga Day from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, at Regency Hall in Clovis, 1600 Willow Ave. Bring a mat. Food from RawFresno will be available for purchase.
The event is sponsored by Council of Indian Organizations of the Central Valley; consulate general of India, San Francisco; and a number of local yoga studios and businesses.
Liz Harrison to speak at Christian Business Women’s Connection meeting
ABC30 news anchor Liz Harrison will be the guest speaker during the Tuesday, June 28 Christian Business Women’s Connection meeting at Pardini’s, 2257 W. Shaw Ave., from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Tickets are $20.
Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual Organization sister to speak
Sister Asha with the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual Organization will present a free talk, “Spirituality and Leadership for the 21st Century,” and lead meditation from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, at Community United Church of Christ, 5550 N. Fresno St., Fresno.
Sister Asha is the director of the Brahma Kumaris Om Shanti Retreat Center in New Delhi,, and has been practicing meditation for half a century. She has organized programs worldwide through the United Nations, including International Year for the Culture of Peace, Million Minutes of Peace Appeal, and Global Cooperation for a Better World and has participated in many interfaith conventions.
