Spiritual leader to speak in Visalia
Dr. Bob Deen, professional education manager for the Center for Spiritual Living headquarters in Golden, Colorado, will speak at 10:30 a.m. May 24 at Center for Spiritual Living Visalia, formerly the Spiritual Awareness Center. Deen has been a religious science minister since 1995 and was senior minister at the center from 2000 to 2003. A student of many spiritual paths, he is sometimes referred to as a weaver of spiritual traditions.

Bethel Full Gospel holds revival
Bethel Full Gospel Church will hold a revival May 27-31 with evangelists Richard and Sandra Martin from Missouri. Service times are 7 p.m. May 27-30 and 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. May 31 and will include anointing, preaching and singing.

Program helps with ADHD
Lifetree Cafe will host a program titled “How to Pay Attention: Tips from a Psychologist with ADHD,” at 7 p.m. May 28. The event includes a filmed interview with psychologist Kevin Park and will offer practical tips for increasing ability to pay attention and will explore the challenges of ADHD.

Feed My Sheep car show planned
Feed My Sheep Ministries and Fresno City College have partnered to hold the third annual Community Unity Car Show and Outreach at 10 a.m. May 30 at Fresno City College. The event is free and will include free food and drinks, bicycle repairs, carnival games and live music.
Entry fees for the car show are $10. The show will be held in the McKinley parking lot.

Sharing Hope in Crisis seminar planned
Calvary Chapel Visalia will host a Sharing Hope in Crisis seminar, offered by the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team, 8:30 a.m.-4:15 p.m. May 30. This seminar is one of three requirements to become certified as a Rapid Response Chaplain to provide appropriate spiritual care and emotional support for people struggling with grief following a personal crisis. The class will cover topics such as a biblical view of suffering, effects of trauma, places of grief, listening skills and more.

Southern gospel concert in Dinuba
The First Baptist Church of Dinuba will present a Southern gospel concert at 6 p.m. May 31 featuring “Keepers of the Faith Ministry.” The group is a nationally known quartet from Washington state.

Muslim Spiritual Care Services holds fundraiser
Muslim Spiritual Care Services is holding a fundraiser titled “Islamic Chaplaincy: Revival of the Prophetic Tradition,” 6-9 p.m.. June 7 at My Deen in Fresno. The goal is to train more Muslim chaplains, spread knowledge about the concept of spiritual care and religious support of Muslims, sponsor Muslim chaplains from selected countries to train in the U.S. and more.

Brahma Kumaris Center holds talk on meditation
Fresno’s Brahma Kumaris Center will hold a a talk that focuses on the practice of meditation at 7 to 8 p.m. June 8 at Wesley United Methodist Church. Ken O’Donnell, regional coordinator for Brahma Kumaris in South America, and Luciana Ferraz, national coordinator for Brahma Kumaris in Brazil, will speak on methods to reduce the quantity of thoughts while increasing their quality and generating a good feeling towards others.
