Tila, from the Food Network's "Iron Chef America" and a guest judge on "Chopped," hosted the event at Community Regional Medical Center. The event was part of Hospital Week, a celebration of hospitals and the people who work at them.
Teams of employees were given baskets of mystery ingredients, including items like Cheetos, a Moscow mule cocktail, cotton candy and black chicken, a chicken with black skin. They had a limited amount of time to create an appetizer, entree and dessert.
A panel of judges eliminated one team each round. The judges were Fresno Bee restaurant reporter Bethany Clough, Julie Musgrave, host of "MedWatch Today" and Matt Joslin, a vice president at Community Regional Medical Center.
The winners created fried black chicken, using Cheetos as the breading, among other dishes.
The winning team was Patrick Dantzler from the hospital's neuroscience department and Cheryl Sutton and Marcia Frye from the cardiovascular department.
