Ooh De Lolli will be selling scones, brownies and other goodies in a pop-up bakery event in downtown Fresno on Sunday, May 17.
Starting at 9 a.m. owner Donna Mott — who used to sell her baked goods at the Ooh De Lolli Take Away Cafe at Gazebo Gardens — will sell from a table on the sidewalk outside the former Iron Bird Cafe at 1915 Fulton St.
A pop up is a little event in which a vendor “pops up” a temporary shop and sells until the goods are gone. She plans to do a pop-up bakery once a month in different places around the city. Keep tabs on Ooh De Lolli’s Facebook page and Instagram for future events.
On the menu this weekend are strawberry lemon scones, salted dark chocolate tarts, bananas Foster cakes, blueberry rosemary goat cheese hand pies, Kahlua brownies, rice pudding brulee and more goodies. They are in limited supply, so come early or keep an eye out for the next one.
