What Tailgate Beach Club at Mandalay Bay Brings to the Las Vegas Strip
On May 16, 2026, the grand opening of the Tailgate Beach Club at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino featured a musical performance by the icon Snoop Dogg. Other celebrities who were in attendance included Tony Hawk, George Kittle, Nick Bosa, Kyren Williams, and members of the Love Island USA cast.
Social media posts from the grand opening spread online, showing that Tailgate Beach Club blends watching sports with an extremely fun and social experience. Gone are the days when fans were satisfied to sit in a sports bar surrounded by loads of screens of different sizes. Instead, many of today's fans want a complete experience.
One Instagram post from the event that garnered thousands of likes showed footage of the venue's private cabanas that feature comfortable seating and screens to watch the game. It also showcased the poolside environment, including the three heated pools, which are surrounded by large screens to enjoy the action. Most notably, it highlighted the party atmosphere, with people playing beer pong, foosball, and ping-pong while enjoying drinks in their swimwear.
A press release from Clique Hospitality previews more of what people in Las Vegas can expect from the newly opened dayclub that will showcase sporting events year-round. It noted that fans will be able to enjoy watching all kinds of live sports at the dayclub, like premium UFC events, Sunday Night Football, and more. The dayclub's more than 125 feet of LED screens will also be used to show a slew of major cultural events, including TV finales. An array of signature drinks and high-end food options will also be offered.
Mandalay Bay's Senior Vice President and General Manager Ben Kott explained what makes the new venue exciting. "Tailgate Beach Club is an exciting addition to Mandalay Bay and another way we continue to evolve our guests' resort experience. This concept blends the excitement of live sporting events with the atmosphere of a Las Vegas dayclub, delivering a unique way for fans to gather, celebrate, and experience the energy of The Strip."
