Moment Musical ends its season of Sunday Serenades with a special performance of a concerto for flute, strings and continuo by Georg Philipp Telemann.

Because the name of the concerto was changed by publishers over the years (it has been listed under other names with piano accompaniment), it took almost a year to find the music and get the piece performance-ready. This may be the first time it has been performed locally with a string orchestra.

The program will also feature Jacques Ibert’s “Histoires for Saxophone and Piano;” String Quintet, Op. 87 by Felix Mendelssohn and “Four on the Floor,” by Libby Larsen for violin, cello, string bass and piano. A reception will follow the concert.

Details: 3 p.m. Sunday, June 12, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 50 E. Santa Ana Ave., Fresno. $10-$20 donation. For more information, call 559-439-1890 or find Moment Musical on Facebook.
