Fresno labeled California's 'bohemia' by author James Fallows

Donald Munro writes on The Beehive:

A month or so ago I told you about a visit to Fresno by the well-known journalist James Fallows of The Atlantic, one of this country’s high-pedigree magazines. He’s been doing an online project titled “American Futures” that examines “the people, organizations, and ideas reshaping the country.”

The article, “Creating California’s New Bohemia — in an Unexpected Locale,” was posted Monday. In it Fallows interviews Rogue Festival stalwarts Jonathon Hogan and Heather Parish, and praises Fresno’s Tower District , writing that while there “you could be in Brooklyn or Berkeley or hip D.C.”
