At Gallery 25, exhibition highlights an Armenian journey

In “A Journey ... Its Faces and Tales,” artist Lorraine Peters offers an autobiographical account through her paintings that includes her roots as an Armenian deaf woman. Her works include references to American Sign Language, Christian symbolism, pop culture, Armenian words, images and icons. Peters also collaborates with Carol Tikijian on a mixed-media installation titled “An Armenian Experience,” which examines the past, present and future roles of Armenian women.
