You could lump Enuff Z’Nuff in with the pop-metal hair bands of the ’80s. The group’s self-titled debut hit at the tail end of the glam-metal scene.
Though the album featured “Fly High Michele” and “New Thing” — both hit the top 50 on the Billboard’s mainstream rock charts — the band lost traction as alternative rock took hold of the airwaves.
But it never stopped playing its brand of revved up power-pop.
In fact, Enuff Z’Nuff released a covers record called “Covered in Gold” last year. It was the band’s 19th album. The trio is finishing up a West Coast tour that includes a stop at 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, at Fulton 55 with local rock bands Gutterfish, Middle Finger and Hosstyle.
