How to improve ‘The Last Jedi’ trailer? With a cardboard Chewbacca

In advance of this year’s Swede Fest, the brains behind Fresno’s Dumb Drum have released their latest project, a swede of the trailer for “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.”

Bryan Harley and Roque Rodriguez, the creators of the YouTube channel Dumb Drum and Swede Fest, have once again outdone themselves with their one-minute swede.

The video is chock full of details, from a cardboard Chewbacca to miniatures of the Millennium Falcon. And if this latest swede is anything like their previous work, it will do very well.

Two years ago, their swede of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” movie trailer got more than 1 million hits and landed them on ABC's “Good Morning America.”

If you are interested, this year’s Swede Fest will be held Sunday, Dec. 10 at the Tower Theatre, 815 E Olive Ave. It’s free for all ages with doors opening at 5 p.m. and films starting at 5:30 p.m.

Here is Dumb Drum’s latest, plus a side-by-side of the real trailer and the swede.
