If you have been to any toy or department store in recent weeks, you will see how many new “Star Wars” sets Lego has released. The company has released hundreds of the sets you can construct for all six of the past films.

Look for more when “The Force Awakens” opens in December.

As far as I can tell, the first “Star Wars” sets from Lego hits stores in 1999. Among the sets that first year was a Darth Maul and Qui-Gon Jinn lightsaber duel and a Naboo Swamp.

What is pictured here is one of the holiday greetings Lego sent out as part of their release of their “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith” products.
