All Nippon Airways will turn one of their plans into a flying version of R2-D2. Its newest aircraft 787-9 Dreamliner will be the start of a five-year ANA agreement with The Walt Disney Company.
This will be the first time a character from the “Star Wars” universe will appear on the exterior of a commercial aircraft.
Look for the plane to be in the skies this fall.

ANA also launched its special website featuring the “Star Wars” collaboration. This includes a line of toys and clothes that can be purchased through the company’s “ANA Mileage Mall.”
