Cas Anvar, one of the stars of the upcoming Syfy series “The Expanse,” remembers seeing “Star Wars: A New Hope” when he was a youngster and living near Montreal.
“It was a life altering experience,” Anvar says of the movie.
He never imagined that one day, he would become part of the “Star Wars” universe.
The actor, who can currently be seen in the feature film “The Vatican Tapes,” is the voice of Peteen in the animated series “Star Wars: The Clone Wars.” Peteen was a Bardottan and High Seneschal of the Bahk-tov Council and a member of the Frangawl Cult during the Clone Wars.

Anvar’s done a lot of voice work but nothing compared to his “Star Wars” experience.
“Normally, when you are recording, you are working alone. And, you never get to see what’s happening on screen,” Anvar says. ‘But, with ‘Star War: The Clone Wars,’ the entire cast recorded all together.
“You could talk over each other. It was like doing a radio play. That made it a great experience.”
