As soon as “Star Wars” proved to be popular, companies began producing a variety of games to allow fans to feel like they were part of the action. These long list of board games ranged from “Star Wars: Escape from Death Star” game to chess sets featuring characters from the movies.

“Escape from Death Star” is a four player game with cards that tell you how to move. The design is very basic but has the distinction of being one of the earliest board games based on the movie.

Another early “Star Wars” game is “Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back” inspired “Hoth Ice Planet Adventure Game.”

There have been “Trivial Pursuit” games featuring “Star Wars” questions, an “Operation” game that has you working on R2-D2 and even a “Star Wars” versions of “Monopoly.”

You can also find “”Star Wars” editions of “Risk” and “Stratego.”
