Carrie Fisher disagrees with her “Star Wars” co-stars during an appearance in front of legions of fans attending “Star Wars Celebration.” Mark Hamill and Anthony Daniels say they never expected “Star Wars” to become such a massive sensation
Fisher knew from the start it would be big.
“So many of you grew up with us and it’s amazing to be part of so many people’s childhood,” Fisher tells the crowd.
The “Star Wars” franchise is loaded with big moments but one that often gets mentioned is the slave outfit Fisher’s Princess Leia wears in “Star Wars: Episode VI: Return of the Jedi.” It’s such an iconic moment that it often gets referenced in pop culture such as in an episode of “Friends.”

Fisher’s often been told by fans of the franchise that they fell in love with her at that moment. Her usual response is to tell them that it wasn’t her but the costume they love.
Leia also made a big fashion statement with her hairstyle that looked like two cinnamon buns. Fisher laughs and says there will be no reappearance of her buns because “they are tired now.”
To be fair, Fisher was 21 when she made “Star Wars: A New Hope.”
No matter the costume, Fisher’s one of the original “Star Wars” cast making an appearance in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”
