Fresno Free College Foundation cries Wolff

Economist Richard D. Wolff will be the featured speaker at the Fresno Free College Foundation 2015 banquet slated for Oct. 24 at the Star Palace. Wolff’s “Economic Update” airs on KFCF (FM 88.1) at 10 a.m. Fridays.

Wolff, a professor emeritus at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst where he taught economics from 1973 to 2008, is currently a visiting professor in the graduate program in international affairs of the New School University, New York City. He also teaches classes regularly at the Brecht Forum in Manhattan.

Tickets are now available for the Fresno event that also will feature a silent auction, a raffle and the local radio station’s Annual Free Speech Awards and programmer of the year.
