Ventura Broadcasting Company has added another cable network to its lineup. In an effort to bring programming to local South Asian, Hindi-language viewers, SAB TV is now on the over-the-air channel KBID (Channel 31.8). The comedy network originates from Mumbai, India.

“We’re proud to introduce SAB TV’s high-quality, energetic comedy programing to our large Central Valley South Asian population,” says Mark Shirin, president of Ventura Broadcasting Company. “SAB TV’s strong lineup of popular comedy shows and family entertainment compliments our expanding number of foreign language networks on our dedicated international group of channels.”

The channel’s lineup includes such shows as “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah,” “Chidiya Ghar” and “Pritam Pyaare Aur Woh.”

SAB TV becomes the 26th channel Ventura Broacasting has added through digitally dividing four low-power TV channels.
