The Winter Jam Tour Spectacular returns to the West Coast this November.
As expected, it will stop in Fresno. The Christian music mega-tour has played here each of the past four years and will do so again Nov. 12 at the Save Mart Center.
“We love bringing Winter Jam to the West Coast,” tour creator Eddie Carswell – who’s also a founding member of the band NewSong – says in a news release announcing 10 Winter Jam dates. “We’re confident God has once again assembled a lineup of amazing artists who will touch hearts for His glory. We can’t wait to watch as arenas are transformed into houses of worship and celebration each night.”
This year’s tour features NewSong, plus singer-songwriters Matthew West and Crowder, Britt Nicole, RED, Mandisa, KB/Tedashii and evangelist Tony Nolan. The Oswald Brothers Band, or OBB, Sarah Reeves and Steven Malcolm will play the pre-jam party.
Tickets for the show are $10 and available at the door only. No advance tickets are required, but fans can get free and early admission to the show by joining the Jam Nation at the tour’s website.
To get a sense of the popularity of Winter Jam, the tour was ranked 10th worldwide, according to midyear stats from the trade publication Pollstar, selling more than a half-million tickets. It outdrew Paul McCartney, Madonna and The Cure.
