TLC had some reach back in the day, not to mention a few hits (”Waterfalls, “No Scrubs”).
And the ’90s hip-hop trio is still held in some reverence. Ask Cardi B, who paid homage and made reference to the band during her performance at Coachella last month. While the group has had its share of difficulties, including a bankruptcy and the death of Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes in 2002, it has continued to perform with remaining members Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas.
TLC performs June 7 at Tachi Palace in Lemoore. Tickets for the show are $28-$98 and on sale now online or at the hotel gift shop.
The concert is part of a short California run following shows in London and France.
Also happening at the casino: Late ’90s rock band Three Doors Down. The band (best known for the song “Kryptonite”) plays Sept. 6 with Collective Soul. Tickets are on sale now.
