Nipsey Hussle honored and remembered in Fresno during candle vigil for late rapper

Rapper Nipsey Hussle grew up in South Los Angeles and often rapped about helping out his community.

And because of his words, as well as his actions, he was revered around the world, including by many in Fresno.

Hundreds turned out for a candle vigil Friday that honored Hussle in downtown Fresno.

The Grammy nominated rapper became popular from his music, and well-respected from his community outreach.

Some consider the impact of Hussle’s death similar to when Tupac Shakur died in 1996.
