Owners who have been waiting for Ryan Grant, Devin Hester and to a lesser extent Vernon Davis to lead their teams to victory might as well have been waiting for Kristin Cavalarri to win an Oscar.

Grant, Hester and Davis haven't had bad seasons. But they haven't come close to justifying their draft status and preseason hype, either.

Look for that to change this week. Each player has a matchup that is overwhelmingly in his favor.

Grant may be averaging a mere 11 points per week, but today he faces a toothless Buccaneers defense that is in the bottom six for points allowed to opposing running backs.

Unless Tampa Bay can borrow Doc Brown's DeLorean to bring back Derrick Brooks, John Lynch and Warren Sapp to go along with the Bucs' retina-searing throwback uniforms, Grant should have a big day.

Hester is matched against a sketchy Arizona secondary that is giving up an average of 20 points to opposing wideouts. Look for Jay Cutler to target Hester all game long.

And Davis, starting with the Houston game (27 points), has established himself as Alex Smith's favorite target. Davis stumbled at Indy last week, but look for the Davis/Smith combo to get back on track against a bad Tennessee defense.
