FRESNO CITY VS. SAN JOAQUIN DELTA

Today: 7 p.m. at Ratcliffe Stadium

Records: No. 11 Rams 4-4, 1-2 Valley Conference; No. 7 Mustangs 5-3, 2-1

Skinny: Fresno City is playing for a bowl berth and must guard against a second-half collapse like last season.

Mustangs stayed in the hunt by upsetting Sequoias with seven interceptions last week.

REEDLEY at SIERRA

Today: 1 p.m. in Rocklin

Records: No. 6 Tigers 5-3, 2-1; No. 10 Wolverines 4-4, 2-1

Skinny: Featured game in Valley Conference this week matches the Tigers' strong defense against an explosive Wolverines offense that gave Fresno City fits last week.

WEST HILLS at SEQUOIAS

Today: 7 p.m. at Mineral King Bowl, Visalia

Records: No. 8 Giants 5-3, 2-1; Falcons 2-6, 0-3

Skinny: Sequoias, coming off an upset by Delta, is 3-0 at home and hasn't lost to West Hills the past four years.

Falcons play almost everyone tough, just not tough enough.
