The 18 fighters scheduled to appear in Friday's Strikeforce Challengers mixed martial arts event at the Save Mart Center will take part in a public weigh-in today at World Sports Cafe.
The weigh-in starts at 5 p.m.
Fresno lightweight Billy Evangelista (10-0) faces Jorge Gurgel (13-5) in the main event, which will be broadcast on a tape-delayed basis on Showtime.

Rams maintain volleyball lead
Fresno City College strengthened its grip on the Central Valley Conference volleyball race as Amanda Michael had 14 kills, six digs and three aces in the Rams' 25-15, 25-17, 25-21 victory over host Taft on Wednesday.
The Rams (18-4 overall) improved to 10-0 with four matches left.
Ariana Milla had nine kills and five digs, and Tasha Greer six kills, 26 assists and nine digs for Fresno City.
Evan Dillon had 19 kills and was 12 of 13 serving to power Porterville (13-5, 7-3) to a 25-20, 19-25, 25-23, 25-19 victory over Merced.
Fresno City wrestlers romp
After being slammed and needing a couple of minutes of injury time, Lucas Keene rebounded to pin Quinnel Willingham in 4:57 of their 197-pound match to provide the highlight of Fresno City College's 47-3 nonconference wrestling victory over visiting West Hills-Lemoore.
The state top-ranked Rams (9-0) also received pins from Daniel Osmer (133 pounds), Chris Urquizo (157), Justin Walker (184) and Austin Garza (heavyweight), and a technical fall from Fernando Lucatero (165) during their final home dual meet of the season.
Fresno City wrestles Santa Ana on Nov. 20 for the state dual meet title.
Sunbirds soccer notes
Rodrigo Vianna scored in the first half, but it wasn't enough to keep second-seeded Azusa Pacific from ousting No. 7 Fresno Pacific from the Golden State Athletic Conference men's soccer tournament with a 2-1 victory.
Second-seeded Cal Baptist eliminated the No. 7 Fresno Pacific women on Tuesday, 5-0.
Raiders boosters to meet
The Oakland Raiders Boosters of Tulare and Kings Counties will meet at 7 p.m. Friday at the Visalia Elks Lodge, 3100 W. Main St.
Among upcoming activities is a bus trip to the Raiders' Nov. 15 game against Kansas City. Cost is $135, which includes a field-level ticket (Section 149) and a tailgate barbecue.
