Last week's column resulted enough hate mail from Raiders fans to rival even the Balloon Boy's parents.

Let me say two things in retrospect.

First: Nice win for the Silver and Black against a quality opponent. The Raiders showed some flashes of real potential.

And second: It's nice to know that they're starting to grant Internet access to inmates.

With any luck, the picks for this week will result in people not wanting to slash my tires (among other things).

A potential outbreak of swine flu may be bad news for the Browns' locker room, but it's going to be a boon this week for owners who have Donald Driver or Aaron Rodgers.

This tandem was in line to put up huge numbers at Cleveland regardless, but with potentially six starters out for the Browns, they figure to roast Eric Mangini's team worse than Rolling Stone's article did.

As for running backs this week, DeAngelo Williams is at the top of the list.

Williams demolished Tampa Bay's D in his last game, and this week he will be licking his chops against the Bills.

Buffalo, it should be noted, has allowed 39 or more fantasy points to running backs in three of its past four games.

Carolina's other back, Jonathan Stewart, should be considered a viable option as well.

Last but not least, those of you looking for help at receiver, may want to take a flier on Michael Crabtree.

To this point his biggest impact on the NFL may have been that he looks freakishly like Deion Sanders, but that should change quickly.

Crabtree may not be a factor this week, but all indications are that the 49ers want to feature him in their passing game as much as possible over the rest of the season.
