See juvenile condors take flight at Pinnacles
Up to two juvenile California condors will be released into the wild Saturday at Pinnacles National Monument, and the public is invited to watch them get their wings.

The event will take place on the east side of the park off of Highway 25 south of Paicines. Shuttle services from designated parking areas will transport guests to within 1.5 miles of the viewing area. Guests unable to walk the trail can request special assistance.

The event coincides with Public Lands Day, when entrance to all national parks is free. Details: www.nps.gov/pinn or (831) 389-4486 ext. 243.
