International Sportsmen's Exposition
Where: San Mateo Event Center and Sacramento's Cal Expo
When: Today-Sunday and Jan. 15-18

California's largest outdoors show returns to the Bay Area this weekend before heading to Sacramento the next.

Each event is filled with thousands of square feet of fishing, hunting and boating products and experts, along with extras like four-wheel drive test tracks, splash dogs, numerous seminars and demonstrations, bass aquariums and programs designed especially for kids.

Fresno will not be hosting its own sports show this year, so interested locals will want to make the 3-hour drive. Of the two expos, Sacramento's is larger and more diverse.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $7 for youths ages 13-17. Children 12 and younger are free. Check www.sportsexpos.com for times, directions and details.
