News & notes

  • Deadlines are fast approaching for two pheasant hunts offered by the DFG's Game Bird Heritage program. Hunts are scheduled in Merced on Dec. 6, 7, 13, 14 and 15, and in Chowchilla on Dec. 13. Apply online at www.dfg.ca.gov/wildlife/hunting/uplandgame/gamebird/.
