Location: Twenty miles east of Visalia and 3 miles west of Three Rivers along Highway 198 Storage: Terminus Dam, completed in 1962 by the Army Corps of Engineers, captures 185,600 acre feet of water (when full) from the Kaweah River

Setting: Twenty two miles of shoreline covered in grasses, scrub oaks and granite; elevation 694 feet

Activities: Boating, fishing, camping, picnicking, water sports, bird watching

Facilities: One full-service commercial marina with boat and slip rentals, gas, snacks and bait; three public boat ramps (Kaweah, Lemon Hill, Slickrock); three picnic areas ($4 day use fee); and one campground with flush toilets and showers

Fishing: Open year round for largemouth bass, rainbow trout, crappie, catfish and bluegill; 15-inch size minimum for bass
