Badger Pass closes until it gets more snow
The lack of snow this winter has forced one nearby ski resort to close temporarily.
On Monday, Badger Pass Ski Area at Yosemite National Park announced it will be temporarily closed until it receives more snow.
The closure includes the cross-country ski trails and snowshoe trails. The turn-off to Badger Pass Road from Highway 41 will also be blocked.

China Peak will open midweek days with one lift
China Peak will limit operations during midweek days until it snows, running just one lift along with its beginner area.
The ski resort at Huntington Lake, which had announced last week it would be closed Tuesdays through Thursdays beginning this week, will keep Chair 6 running for boarders and skiers along with the moving carpets for beginners seven days a week.
In addition, Chair 2 and Chair 4 will run on Mondays and Fridays, and Chair 1 will be added on Saturdays and Sundays.
