Dan Straily (10-6, 3.58 ERA) struck out eight while allowing two runs in seven innings to become the first Grizzlies pitcher to reach double-digit wins. Former Grizzlies pitcher Travis Blackley of the Zephyrs was roughed up for seven runs and seven hits.

Grizzlies on Tuesday: RH Mark Appel (2-2, 4.00 ERA), the top prospect with the Fresno Grizzlies, will look to continue his recent string of success when he takes the mound against the New Orleans Zephyrs. Appel has a 2.10 ERA in his past four starts and racked up 26 strikeouts in 252/3 innings. Triple-A batters are hitting .267 off him. Appel will face Zephyrs RH Blake Logan (0-2, 2.70), who will be making his fourth Triple-A start. First pitch is at 7:05 p.m.
